Annual Young Southern Student Writers competition. The Arts and Education Council present the Students from any school (K-12) in the greater Chattanooga area are eligible to enter as long as entries are submitted by a teacher from that school. Entries may be submitted in two categories: prose or poetry. You can read the complete entry guidelines at the entry guidelines at http://artsedcouncil.org/page/programs/school-outreach/yssw-2009. Entries must be postmarked by December 11, 2009. The winners will be announced in March, and will be recognized in a special ceremony at the Tivoli Theatre on March 30, 2010.
